Rifles

No private or service handguns may be carried on a person on the range.

Competitors are to provide their own weapons.

All weapons issued or purchased are to be used as issued by their arm of Service or purchased from a supplier without unauthorized additions or alterations.

Only service rifles listed below are permitted:

a. R4 Rifle as issued(1 in 9 or 12 spin barrel)

b. R5 Rifle as issued(1 in 9 or 12 spin barrel)

c. LM4 Rifle as originally issued(1 in 9 or 12 spin barrel)

d. LM5 Rifle as originally issued(1 in 9 or 12 spin barrel)

e. International competitors use their service rifle as issued.

f. International competitors are to submit a letter/document to the march director stating that their rifles are “as issued” by their respective force and are safe to use in the competition.

Only competitors shooting with optic sights are allowed to fit a CR-21 Polymer Butt cover and only in the following manner:

Attaching to the butt-stock with three screws, i.e. two on the back plain shoulder pad, and one on the flat top surface, approximately 2.5cm from the front. Screws are to be surface mounted tapered head allen-key or similar. A spacer or adjusting mechanism can be utilised under the front end stock screw to assist in attaining preferred cheek-piece height.
